What to Bring to the Best Picnic Spots in Brooklyn - BKLYN Larder
Picnic season is neigh, with warm weather, summer and spring breaks, and Brooklyn is the place to be. We're spoiled with beautiful parks and greenery, bike paths and waterfront views, and outdoor dining all throughout the city! These are our four favorite picnic spots around Brooklyn, and the best things to bring along.

1.
Prospect Park | Outdoor Party
No surprise here. Prospect Park is a staple of Brooklyn and life is always bustling amongst the fields— from bikers and grillers, to baseball parents and concert goers, and the get together on open grass with a jazz quartet nearby. One of the best places to have a casual picnic in Brooklyn is undoubtedly the beautiful Prospect Park! Pair your gathering with a catered sandwich platter while enjoying the sun! We recommend crudités for a fresh crunch, a dips platter with extra crostini, and the dessert and sandwich platter!

2.
Brooklyn Bridge Park | Romantic First Date
But what about romantic date ideas? Whether it’s a precursor to a big night, or a sweet wind-down from the day’s hustle, a sunset evening with a cheeseboard, can never go wrong. Brooklyn Bridge Park the best park for romantic sunset dates, with a lot of quiet enclaves. Set up a board with some wine, and sink into the mood. Date night in Brooklyn has never been easier! Try individual plates or put it together yourself!

3.
Domino Park | Beers With Friends
Need a chill spot to kick back with some friends? Close to a hub of nightlife and shopping, grab a few beersa sharing plate, and hit Domino Park. Easily bike into the park along the river for a scenic ride on the built out bike lane with a few beers in hand, for a simple and fun evening!

4.
Fort Greene Park | Quiet Picnic Spots
…Maybe you’re just looking for a more quiet park to catch up with more picnics than parties. Fort Greene’s townhouses line the quaint streets with small shops and great dinner spots right by the park. We like to take a Picnic Sandwich Pack, a blanket, and maybe some gelato, for enjoying a slow paced evening.
