Founded by two friends, Joan Maclsaac and Irene Costillo, who have known each other for over 30 years. The recipes for Effie’s Homemade Crackers were inspired by Joan’s mom Effie MacLellan, who grew up on a rural farm in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. They are wholesome, crunchy and crumbly, but with just the right amount of sweetness. Truly, one of our favorite snacks of all time!
