How the Larder is Here to Help You
During this time of uncertainty, BKLYN Larder is here to serve you and our community. With the COVID-19 situation developing further each day here in New York; we are continuously updating our operation procedures to reflect what is recommended by government officials and what is safest for our employees and customers. That being said, during times of fear we think good food helps to bring people together (even if we can’t be together physically). We plan to continue to serve our community as long as it is safe to do so.
Below are some ways we have modified our day to day operations to better support you!
We are now carrying more produce than ever before, as well as Fossil Farms ground turkey and ground beef. Our hope is that we can truly be a one-stop-shop for everything you may need. We are currently carrying cherry tomatoes, avocados, carrots, miscellaneous herbs, garlic, apples, asparagus, bell peppers, a variety of greens, and so much more. You are welcome to call us prior to coming in to check our stock levels on any of these items, as well as on all of our shelf-stable goods. (718)783-1250
Local Meal Delivery
We have just launched a new local meal delivery system, designed with set prices and $10 delivery within Brooklyn. The menu features our house-made entrees and salads, as well as some of our dips. Each meal comes with an entree, a side, and bread. For adults it is $16 and for children it is $12. You can place an order for your whole week’s worth of meals at once, send meals as a gift to someone you love, and all of the foods should keep in your fridge for up to five days. Don’t want to do our meal delivery program but still want a sandwich and some other Larder goods? For the first time ever we are accepting delivery orders over the phone.
Shopping, Made Easier
Need some groceries but want to limit your time spent outside the house? Shop on our website and select “In-Store Pickup” at the checkout if you are local. Not a local customer? Our e-commerce business is still fully up and running and we can ship items anywhere within the US! We have made a “Stocking Up” category for ease of shopping.
We have also set up Facetime capabilities in-store if you would like to see what we have available before making the trip. Wanting to order a sandwich or some prepared foods? You are always welcome to call in your order prior to your arrival and we are happy to run your food out to you.
Please bear with us if website inventory hasn’t updated correctly or if we run out of something--our vendors assure us the supply chain is strong, however, due to the small-batch nature of a lot of our makers we will continue to update you if there are disruptions.
We have made several changes in-store to ensure the safety and well-being of all of our customers and Larder family.
-We have removed in-store seating so all meals must be taken to-go
-We are asking that no more than 5 customers be in the store at one time to promote social distancing. Please form a line outside and we will serve you as soon as possible.
-Marble salads are now being packed out instead of being left uncovered
-All bread is bagged each day instead of being left uncovered
-We are still accepting cash but we encourage using contactless payment methods if possible

As always, you can purchase a gift card on our site or in-store if you don’t need any Larder goods but still want to support our small business.
