A few things we love: Prospect Park, Brooklyn, Coffee and Runners. So we were super pumped to learn that United Airlines NYC Brooklyn/Manhattan Half Marathon course starts at the Prospect Park Nethermead and heads right past our shop as the runners make their way up Flatbush and over the Manhattan Bridge. That makes BKLYN Larder the perfect spot to cheer on your favorite marathoner from Mile 3 to 4 because we will be serving FREE Superlost coffee!
We’re opening early on Sunday March 17th at 7AM and will be offering free SUPERLOST coffee until 10AM to all the fans watching on Flatbush. BKLYN Larder carries single origin, sustainably and ethically sourced beans and cold brew from Superlost Coffee Roasters, a company founded by Craig Deahl and David Roa, right here in Brooklyn. We can’t wait for you to taste their delicious roast. Superlost has quickly become a staff and customer favorite - we know you’ll love it too.
Grab a house-made doughnut (a holiday favorite back by popular demand), hot cocoa for the kids, warm croissant, frittata on a biscuit, along with your FREE coffee to help you cheer even louder as the marathoners run by.
And if you are running in the race, or want to carb load as if you are, we’re offering a special pasta dinner just for you. Purchase Linguine, a pint of our House-Made Sausage Ragu and one pound of our Shaved Brussel Sprout and citrus salad for $32 and we’ll give you a FREE pint of house-spun gelato. You pick the flavor.
Brooklynites make the best fans, so come on out and show the BKLYN Love.
