An ancient, pasteurized sheep's milk cheese from Agour, made exclusively with the milk of the Black Head Manech breed of sheep, known as the “the conquering princess of Basque mountains." Of all the Ossau Iraty Agour produces, Tete Noir has the smallest production, made from the milk of just four small herds located within 16 miles of the creamery. Made by hand and aged in special cellars producing a natural redish hued rind.

At checkout, you’ll choose your shipping speed and ship date (the date your order leaves us), not the delivery date. Most orders arrive within 1–2 days of the selected ship date, even when Standard Shipping is selected.
To protect perishable items, ship dates are available Monday and Thursday and may be limited during warmer periods. Please ensure someone is available to receive perishable deliveries.
