Sequatchie Cove Creamery Coppinger

Since 2010 Nathan and Padgett Arnold have used time-tested methods to conjure the terroir of the Sequatchie Valley, collaborating with cute Devonshire cows and the living landscape to make cheeses worth sharing.

Coppinger is an award winning, semi-soft, washed rind cheese. Inspired by the French cheese Morbier, it features a distinctive line of decorative vegetable ash running through its center. Buttery and savory, with notes of fresh grass, citrus, and cured meats. It has a balanced level of saltiness and pungent, fruity notes. Some people detect subtle hints of smoked meat or scotch.
