BKLYN Larder is a celebration of the world’s best cheeses, meats, and everything that goes with them. We locally source seasonal, small batch, and ethically made foods. For over a decade we have been serving our Brooklyn community with a welcoming place to find hand-crafted cheeses, homemade prepared foods, hard-to-find grocery items, unique food gift baskets, and gourmet holiday catering. We also have some of the best sandwiches in all of New York City!
When Mandy Wynn learned BKLYN Larder was in danger of shuttering in 2017, she stepped in to keep this neighborhood staple afloat. With the philosophy: the more you know about the food you consume, the better it tastes; she curates the specialty items sold at Larder so customers can be introduced to new and delicious tastes with unique stories worth sharing.
Mandy lives in Brooklyn, NY with her husband, twin teenagers, and two cats. She serves on the board of a local inclusion pre-school and holds a BA and MS from Columbia University. Before becoming an entrepreneur, Mandy’s career spanned communications, public relations and non-profit fundraising. Her favorite cheeses are goat goudas, smooth alpines, nutty cheddars, and triple creams.
