The Giacomini family has been farming in California for over 100 years. Since 2000, four sisters and their mom have focused on artisanal cheese making with the utmost care for the land and their animals. The result is some of our favorite domestic cheeses!
Quinta is a soft-ripened, bloomy rind cheese, topped with CA Bay Laurel leaves and wrapped in spruce bark. Made with pasteurized cows’ milk. Quinta is meant to be enjoyed at room temperature in a single sitting by removing a portion of the top rind and digging in with a small spoon or cheese spreader.
