An exceptional artisan Wensleydale made from raw cow’s milk by Ben and Sam Spence at their family farm in Carperby, North Yorkshire. A rare revival of traditional farmhouse Wensleydale, Yoredale is cloth-bound and carefully matured by the renowned Neal’s Yard Dairy.
With a moist, supple texture and delicate, buttery crumble, the cheese opens with rich milky notes before revealing a bright lemony freshness, subtle buttermilk, and fresh cream. Its natural cloth-bound rind contributes a gentle earthy, mushroom character. Matured for four to six months on wooden shelves, Yoredale is a beautifully balanced expression of traditional Yorkshire cheesemaking—fresh, elegant, and deeply connected to its Dales terroir.

We ship select items nationwide from Brooklyn, NY. Please note: we are unable to ship to P.O. Boxes.
Shipping is available at a flat rate of $25, with expedited and overnight options available at checkout.
At checkout, you’ll choose your shipping speed and ship date (the date your order leaves us), not the delivery date. Most orders arrive within 1–2 days of the selected ship date, even when Standard Shipping is selected.
To protect perishable items, ship dates are available Monday and Thursday and may be limited during warmer periods. Please ensure someone is available to receive perishable deliveries.
