Daphnis and Chloe Greek Herbs & Spices

Based in a workshop under the Acropolis Hills of Athens, Daphnis and Chloe travel Greece for superior herbs in forgotten, heirloom varieties grown by small organic farms.  Their herbs are dried to preserve their natural color and flavor to create superior ingredients for your kitchen.

Wild Thyme Flowers- Floral and tingling, this Thymus Capitatus is best friends with lemon, garlic, and olive oil.  Its blossoms are hard to find for sale,due to a laborious process that allows for preserving the herb’s aroma for longer. These buds are harvested one by one trimming with care to preserve their full shape. Crush with your fingers before use to release its fragrance. You’ll need 2-3 blossoms per portion for marinades, dressings, pickling, brines or any herbal infusion. Decorate your next cheese board with a few blossoms and taste their aromatic addition to fresh and aged cheeses.

For optimal quality, place in an airtight container in a drawer or cupboard. Properly storing your herbs is very important as it expands their life span. Avoid direct sunlight and humidity.

We ship nationwide via FedEx via Ground or 2 Day Express. Shipping is free for subscriptions and orders $95+. All others ship for a flat $25 rate.

You may select Mon–Thurs ship dates at checkout; we may limit days as needed to protect perishables. Please note: you are choosing the ship date, not the arrival date.
