Prairie Breeze Cheddar

Prairie Breeze™ is Milton Creamery's twist on a well-aged white cheddar style cheese, aged for a minimum of 9 months, made with vegetarian rennet and no added color.

It is sweeter than your typical cheddar with lots of flavor, crumbly yet creamy with a little crunch from the calcium crystals developed during the aging process.  Its nutty tones and fresh canned pineapple scent distinguish it from all other cheddars and makes you want “just one more” bite of this unique cheese.  It melts beautifully and is Milton Creamery's most beloved and decorated cheese.

Milton Creamery, founded by the Musser family, is celebrating their 15th anniversary in 2021. The creamery is the result of a dream to help others in the agriculture world and beyond, adding value to the milk for dairy farmers, creating jobs in rural Iowa, and bringing people a product created with art and passion. Over the years, they have won numerous blue ribbons for their authentic cheddar style cheeses all made with milk from small, local, family-owned farms.
