Fifth Hammer Brewing

Brewed out of LIC, owners Mary and Chris named their brewery after the story of Pythagoras coming to understand the nature of harmony. At a forge where five men were busy hammering, he found the first four hammers to be beautifully aligned. The fifth, not so much. The fifth hammer is the discordant + indescribable portion of the universe to which we all intentionally turn a blind eye. Their beers, however, are crisp, smooth, and innovative. Neighborbräu - An unfiltered crisp Pilsner with fresh biscuity maltiness, citrus and floral notes from Saaz and Halletau Blanc hops balanced by a gentle bitterness. The perfect stoop beer! 4.8% ABV

Break of Jawn -  This elegant, award winning Belgian-style Witbier was brewed with sweet and bitter orange peel and coriander and fermented with a traditional Belgian yeast. Fruity with notes of citrus & honey, complemented by a creamy mouthfeel, naturally re-fermented with orange blossom honey to bring lively effervescence and a magnificent frothy head.  5.5% ABV

Bear Quotes - A Pilsner collab with Hopsteiner who provided the new world Contessa, Bravo, and Delta hops. Fruit forward, yet dry and easy to drink, Bears Quotes leaves absolutely no questions, the answer is to bear! 4.5%ABC
