Cowirl Creamery came to be in 1997, the brain child of the creative duo Peggy Smith and Sue Conley. Their ultimate dream? To celebrate organic practices and spotlight the craftsmanship of local and sustainable argriculture in Marin and Sonoma counties in CA. It is through this dream that they brought to us some of the most well known American cheeses today, such as Mt Tam. Creamy, buttery, and full of CA flavor.
