These cookies originally come from a provision shop founded in Scotland by the McVitie family in 1839. Their name and cookie has become synonymous with British culture, earning the Royal Seal of Approval, making both King George's and later Princess Elizabeth's wedding cakes, and serving as sustenance on two Arctic expeditions.
We use McVities as the base of our crowd pleasing chocolate caramel squares. Dunk them in your favorite hot beverage, bake them into a crust, top them with cheese or enjoy one all on its own.
