

Over the last 40 years Chris Gentine, a Wisconsin Licensed Cheese Grader who started his dairy career at the age of 14, built Deer Creek Cheese with traditional, sustainable cheesemaking methods to showcase the best The Dairy State of Wisconsin has to offer.
He developed Deer Creek's cheeses along side Master Cheesemakers Kerry Henning and Sid Cook using nutrient rich milk from Wisconsin's kettle morain landscape providing lush summer grazing, sweet winter feed and fresh limestone filtered water for the cows on local farms.
With the help of his family, including daughter Sophie who illustrates the whimsical labels, serves as Brand Manager and is also a Licensed Cheese Grader herself, Chris continuously brings us award-winning, characterful, and creative cheeses.
We ship select items nationwide via FedEx Ground or Two Day. Please note: we are unable to ship to P.O. Boxes.
Shipping is free on orders $95+ and all subscriptions. All other orders ship for a flat rate of $25.
At checkout, you’ll choose your ship date (the date your order leaves us), not the delivery date. Most orders arrive within 48 hours of this date, and all orders containing cheese are packed to ensure delivery within this window.
To protect perishable items, ship dates are available Monday through Thursday and may be limited during warmer periods. Please ensure someone is available to receive perishable deliveries.
